Plans & planets
Share plans nearby
Share one plan with people near you. Paired iPhones stay in step directly while PlanIT is open, end-to-end encrypted.
PlanIT works offline with no server, no cloud and no account. After you choose to pair, shared plans and your own linked devices sync directly, end-to-end encrypted, only while PlanIT is open and the devices can connect locally. There is no background or internet sync.
Pairing
One phone shows an animated gold orbit code around the plan’s planet; the other scans it. Without a camera, both people tap Compare numbers instead, check that the six digits match, and tap They match.
What is shared
A shared plan includes its tasks, notes, files, events, linked Journal entries and the shareable details of its people: name, nickname, pronouns, photo, title, phone numbers, email addresses and websites. Private notes, important dates, likes, gift ideas, relationships and groups about a person are not shared.
Each person keeps their own To-Do list, alerts and layout.
When you both make changes
Additions always arrive on both phones. A task finished on one phone but changed on the other stays open, with a note saying who did what. Text edited on both phones is merged line by line with change marks. Every change is kept in History.
Stopping sharing
Removing someone from a plan, or stopping sharing, stops new changes reaching them. It cannot delete what has already reached their device.
Text and PDF exports
A text or PDF export is a separate snapshot. It does not stay in step with a shared plan. Review the content before sending it.
