On iOS 26 and later PlanIT sets real alarms that ring through Silent mode; before that, loud notifications.
iOS 26 and later
With your permission, alarms are the iPhone's real alarms: they ring through Silent mode and Focus, and Snooze shows a countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
Earlier, or without permission
They're time-sensitive notifications with PlanIT's alarm sound and a Snooze button. Silent mode keeps those quiet, so check the switch on the side of your iPhone.
Weekly alarms ring by the clock, so they follow your iPhone when you change time zone. See time zones.
