Backups
Export everything to a file, protected with a password (optional but recommended), and restore it on any iPhone.
Exporting
- Settings → Backup → Export Backup.
- Choose whether to Protect with a password (default is on). Type it twice; use at least 4 characters.
- Save the file somewhere safe: Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop.
Restoring
Restore and choose the file. A protected backup asks for its password first. It replaces everything with the backup, so you slide to confirm. Nothing changes if this fails.
A protected backup is scrambled with your password, so nobody can read it without it, and PlanIT notices if the file was changed.
You can also link your own devices to keep PlanIT content in step directly while the app is open. Linked devices are not a substitute for a separate exported backup.
