Getting started
Your data stays with you
PlanIT works offline with no server, no cloud and no account. After you choose to pair, shared plans and your own linked devices sync directly, end-to-end encrypted, only while PlanIT is open and the devices can connect locally. There is no background or internet sync.
- No sign-in, no account, no server and no cloud service. No organizer data is sent to us.
- Contacts, Calendar and Reminders are used only when you switch them on, and you will be asked to grant permission. PlanIT only reads them and never changes appointments or events created outside the app.
- Widgets can display a brief summary of the content in the app, this would be hidden on a locked iPhone.
- Apple Intelligence features run on your iPhone.
- An optional privacy lock keeps PlanIT, or just the Journal, behind Face ID as an additional layer of protection.
Your local PlanIT data is encrypted. Shared plans and linked devices exchange changes directly with end-to-end encryption. See how your data is protected.
To move to a new iPhone or keep a copy of the information you saved in the app, export a backup. PlanIT also keeps daily copies on the iPhone.
A shared plan includes its tasks, notes, files, events, linked Journal entries and the shareable details of its people: name, nickname, pronouns, photo, title, phone numbers, email addresses and websites. Private notes, important dates, likes, gift ideas, relationships and groups about a person are not shared.
Removing someone from a plan, or stopping sharing, stops new changes reaching them. It cannot delete what has already reached their device.
Sharing and linking your devices ask for local network permission; scanning a pairing code asks for camera permission. Nothing captured is sent to us. See Share plans nearby and Your devices.
