Journal
The Journal
Write about your day, with photos, scans and files. Each entry's first line is its title.
Open it with Journal on home's bar; after your first week the button is called Captain's Log, PlanIT's own name for it.
Writing
- Tap + for a new entry. The keyboard is up, ready at the very start.
- Write. The first line is the entry's title and is drawn larger.
- It's saved as you write. Tap Done, or swipe down twice (once puts the keyboard away).
- Format text from the bar above the keyboard: text style, checklists, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, lists, indent, quotes, highlight and links.
- Pick a mood: Steady, Focused, Energized, Reflective, Rough or Dream.
- Copy the whole entry with the copy button under it, or share it.
- Add photos, scans and files, tags, a date and reminder, and links to a plan or people.
What you can still change is under Today; everything older reads on below as Your Journey So Far. See days in the Journal.
Left something unticked in your last entry's checklist? A new entry offers Unfinished items from your last log: tap one to keep it (it joins this entry as a tick-box line), swipe it left to let it go, and tap OK when you're done: the list goes away and isn't offered again.
